Dylan for President

Dylan Paul Zinser Katz was born at about 5:15 am on the 4th of February, 2006. He arrived a pinkish shade of healthy, unscathed but for a dose of road rash crowning his fresh face. This blog is a place for family and friends to share images, media and commentary surrounding Dylan's exciting first years. This will, over time, become an archive and as well as a forum.

Another Wedding?!?!

So, we started September with a wedding, and ended with a wedding. We drove to Phoenix for Jennifer Myatt's wedding to Richie. It was a beautiful wedding with the desert mountains as the back drop and ended with a very fun reception. Dylan could not stay off the dance floor. I think he has a little bit of his Grandpa Terry in him. One of the highlights of the trip was getting to see and spend time with Grampa, Joan, Forest & Sarah. Grampa brought Dylan a signed baseball from their farm team and Dylan has loved playing with it ever since. (And Dylan naps to the personalized CD from Grampa & Joan almost every day - thanks Grampa & Joan!)

Josh & Xan's Wedding Extravaganza

Well, with weddings comes a lot of fun time with family. Dylan got to spend time with Mark & Alana, Meyer & Michele, Lisa & Tony and Uncle Stan & Alex (almost all of his out of town Katz relations - we missed the Creed clan). Dylan had lots of fun with his cousin, Madelaine, from Toronto. They went swimming, played with toys, went to the beach and ate together. Madelaine is about 3 months older than Dylan so it is just perfect.

Grandma Lu came down and watched Dylan while Mommy and Daddy went to the wedding on September 8, 2007. (Grandma Lu had just finished helping Jackie with Van - so I am sure she was tired but it sounded like she and Dylan had fun - she even took him to the beach!)

I love this picture (below right) in the bathroom. Dylan and Madelaine took a bath together and it was so cute that everyone had to come see it for themselves. We all decided not to put the bath pics on the worldwide web but suffice it to say it created quite a scene, and was a source of laughter for many observing the observers. What can you say - grandparents can't get enough of these two cuties!

Dylan is excited that he has gained a new auntie - Auntie Xan - who we all love! (Unfortunately, I only have a video from the rehearsal dinner where Dylan was in procession with all of his cousins and Xan's cousins but I will post photos if any come up!)

Dylan Gets A Cousin!!!

We are very excited that Dylan now has a cousin, Van Terry Patterson, born on August 28th up in Valencia. He is sure a cutie! We think Dylan and Van will have lots of fun together.
