Dylan for President

Dylan Paul Zinser Katz was born at about 5:15 am on the 4th of February, 2006. He arrived a pinkish shade of healthy, unscathed but for a dose of road rash crowning his fresh face. This blog is a place for family and friends to share images, media and commentary surrounding Dylan's exciting first years. This will, over time, become an archive and as well as a forum.

First Haircut & Grandma Sharon - May 2007

On May 15th Dylan had his first professional haircut. We drove up to Manhattan Beach to get Dylan's haircut by Marlene (Daddy's hairdresser) at Fantastic Sam's. Dylan watched Dave get his haircut first and then sat on Dave's lap while I took numerous photos. Dylan was very quiet and observant. He did not cry once. Marlene was a pro!


Grandma Sharon came to visit Dylan in May and we went to Crystal Cove State Park - one of my favorite beaches in the OC.

We also celebrated a fun Mother's Day at the Katz's where we enjoyed a wonderfully cooked meal and relaxation!

Palm Desert

Dylan and family enjoyed a relaxing time in Palm Desert.

As always, Dylan swam a lot and he enjoyed his new toy from Grandma Lu (a push toy).



We also visited Elvis and Priscella Presley's honeymoon home on the 40th (?) anniversary of their honeymoon. (Note the Elvis impersonator in the background.)
