4 Month Stats

So, Dylan went to the doctor today and he did well until he got the shots - which he did not like at all. Luckily, I can still calm Dylan down by nursing him - and that is exactly what it took! So, Dylan weighs 13 pounds, 13 ounces and is 24 1/2 inches long. He is in the 25% of height and weight - which Dave and I think is odd since we are both fairly tall but I guess size as a baby has no bearing on adult size. Dr. Taylor, Dylan's pediatrician said that Dylan is doing great and to keep feeding him as much as he wants to eat. Last time the doctor said that Dylan heard him and increased his feeding from 6 to 7 a day. I joked with the doctor not to say it too loudly because Dylan is already on 8 feedings a day and I thought Dylan had heard the doctor the last time! Dylan will be starting solids soon - I will probably go to Mother's Market to see if they have some organic rice ceareal for my little sweet pea. Oh, and Dr. Taylor said that Dylan is capable of sleeping 7 hours at night and gave us some advice on getting him to do that - we will keep everyone posted!
