18 Month Stats

Dylan had his 18 month doctor appointmet on August 21, 2007. He weighed 25 pounds and was 32 3/4 inches long. He is now in the 50th percentile for both height and weight. We thought he had grown significantly since he can now take items off of the kitchen counters! This was a fun appointment because there were no shots.

So Dylan is starting to talk up a storm. Some of his favorite words are ice, wa-wa, nana (banana), aqua, si, Nonny, Joe (our very patient cat), no, baby and of course, mama and dada.

Dylan also enjoyed celebrating Landon's first birthday last Saturday (see the picture - what great colors). Somehow we did not get a picture of Landon and Dylan together. Their nap times did not mesh for the b-day party!

The Beach

One of Dylan's favorite things to do this summer is going to the beach. He loves running in the wet sand (the dry sand is a little tricky to walk in for him). He likes the waves, any rocks or objects on the beach, other little kids and the sand. We have spent some fun times at Crystal Cove State Park and in Newport Beach. As you can see, he particularly likes the beach with his good friend Landon Das!

Dylan also likes the beach with Pepita and Nonny! I like this picture of him kissing Pepita. Dylan gives good kisses and good hugs. If there is a group of us before he goes night, night, he makes sure everyone in the room gives him a kiss. And if you miss someone, he will point to them so they can give him a kiss good night. He is such a sweetie!
